Calling all Youth and Young Adult Urantia Book readers! We on the YaYA Committee are thrilled to be hosting our third semiannual Youth and Young Adult Conference! We had an inspiring time in Boulder, CO and Pasadena, CA, and now we’re ready to get spiritized with you in Chicago!

This gathering will be special for a few reasons. First of all, we’ll be convening at the Urantia Foundation at 533 Diversey Parkway in Chicago. This is the birthplace of the revelation, a historically significant building, and an active hub of worldwide UB activity. Secondly, our YaYA Conference will dovetail with the Summer Study Session happening outside Chicago August 2-5. We encourage everybody to spend a full week in the area and come to both!

Finally, we’re working on a bunch of exciting projects we want you to be a part of in Chicago! These include:

-Making a video intro to the Urantia Book
-Designing a survey to advance spiritual practice and community
-Building a resource network for Urantia Family Life
-Getting to know and learn from the local Chicago readership
-Partnering with Young Adults Speak Out
-Growing in love for and service to each other and our greater community

We’ll learn the history of the Foundation, engage in service projects, take an architectural tour of Chicago, have a picnic on the lake, worship together, and eat delicious meals generously prepared by Culinary School of the Rockies grad Jennifer Siegel! We’ll be staying at the Foundation and the nearby Getaway Hostel, and can also help out with limited travel scholarships for those in need.
