Dave Tucker Speaks

This summer at IC’11 our good friend Dave Tucker gave a talk.

Below is a PDF of the content if you missed it like I did.

My talk was about the new approach to our Master’s two thousand year old admonishment to preach the gospel of the fatherhood of God, and the brotherhood of man, by using newly understood successful practices. This outlook takes pieces from Simon Sinek’s TED talk, and with that framework and the discovered values from the Urantia Book forms a new, yet-to-be-tapped approach to ministry. Zeal is no excuse for ministering without planning; in fact it’s the zeal that sustains our planning efforts if done correctly. Through this speech I attempt to stress the importance of planning, approach, and best possible course of action through appealing to the individual’s own current belief system. I hope this speech finds each who reads it well. God bless, Dave Tucker. Los Angeles,

I will, more patiently go through the trials of your selection

I will, more persistently and cheerfully tread the path of your choosing

I will, more humbly receive credit that may accrue as a result of your ceaseless endeavors.

For I know you will function with wisdom and power until the very end, until the last earth struggle is over; I know you will be true to your personality trust. I promise I will do my best to survive, and not disappoint you, nor deprive you of the reward of your patient and intense struggle. For I know that on my human will our achievement of personality depends.
